On Saturday the team broke into 4 groups and built BumperBots. They then chose from among 3 different programs to use with their bots to compete in an arena. The group with the highest number of "bumps" within 2.5 minutes won the round.
After a few rounds using the same design, the groups were then given 10 minutes to modify their bots in any way they wanted to try to improve their score. Some extremely creative solutions emerged and the point totals skyrocketed.
